Stefanie Jeschke studied visual communications at the Bauhaus University in Weimar and began working for various publishing houses as an illustrator of books for children and young adults while still a student. In 2012, she opened her own little studio, Atelier für Illustratives, in rural Brandenburg. In the small and ancient town of Treuenbrietzen, she lives and works in her over 100-year-old house, in which she also regularly exhibits her original book illustrations.
